The Faculty of Commerce was in existence right from the inception of the college in 1964. The department was headed by eminent professors during different periods. Presently it is headed by Dr. Mohd. Yasin Ansari, Professor in Commerce. Initially the department was running only B. Com. M. Com was started in the year 1980-81. Many alumni of the faculty have made their career as Professors, Teachers, Chartered Accountants and as managers in corporate sector. Two present professors of the faculty viz., Dr. M. Y. Ansari and Shri N. C. Sankhla are its alumni. Dr. Rashmi Soni and Ms. Surbhi Gupta are its other faculties. The Department also offers Computer Application and Tax Procedure and Practice as self-financing optional subjects in B. Com. Shri Naveen Chhalwant teaches Computer Application and Shri Yogendra Chouhan is the faculty in Tax Procedure and Practice.
