It is needless to stress upon the importance of the Department of Mathematics since Mathematics is the core subject in B. Sc. Maths group. The department was started along with the college in 1964, and it became a PG department in the year 1991. It is the only department offering M. Sc. in Mathematics in the District of Shajapur. It has very good student strength both at UG and PG classes. Presently Ms. Jyoti Athiya is the head of the department, and the other faculties are Mrs. Aarti Borasi and Shri Sunil Kumar Mittal.
