The Department of Political Science was started with the inception of the college in 1964. The subject of Political Science remains the most favoured subject of all times for the arts students and as a result, the largest number of students of arts faculty in undergraduate courses choose the subject. The department, however, does not run PG Course. Instead, it has started PG in Public Administration which is in great demand.
